The Department of Business Innovation and Incubation, School of Business, University for Development Studies, invites eligible UDS students across all campuses to apply for the 2026 Students Entrepreneurship and Enterprise Development Programme.

The SEED Programme is an initiative of the National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Programme designed to support students with innovative business ideas and existing start-ups. It provides participants with the practical knowledge, professional guidance, networks and resources required to develop sustainable and impactful enterprises.

Benefits of the Programme

Successful applicants will benefit from:

1. Entrepreneurship training and practical workshops;
2. Mentorship from experienced entrepreneurs and industry professionals;
3. Support in developing viable business plans;
4. Networking opportunities with other student entrepreneurs; and
5. The opportunity to access seed funding for promising and innovative business ideas.

Eligibility

Applications are open to:

1. Eligible UDS students from all campuses;
2. Students with innovative business ideas or existing start-ups; and
3. Students with a strong interest in entrepreneurship, innovation and sustainable development.

Application Support

The Department of Business Innovation and Incubation is available to assist UDS students to prepare and submit competitive applications. Support will be provided in the following areas:

1. Refinement of business ideas;
2. Guidance on the application process;
3. Review of business plans;
4. Pitch preparation; and
5. Entrepreneurship mentoring.
