Call for Applications - Erasmus+ KA171 Staff Training Mobility at the University of Málaga, Spain

The University for Development Studies, through the Directorate of International Relations and Advancement, invites applications from eligible staff members for an Erasmus+ KA171 Staff Training Mobility at the University of Málaga, Spain, under Project 2024 for the 2026/2027 academic year. One staff training mobility place is available to UDS in all common areas.

Mobility Details

  1. Mobility type: Staff Training (STT)
  2. Available place: One
  3. Subject area: All common areas
  4. Duration: Five training days and two travel days
  5. Completion date: The mobility must be completed by 31 July 2027

Eligible activities may include job shadowing, observation, professional development and other approved institutional learning activities. Conference participation does not qualify as staff training under this call.

Eligibility

  1. Be employed by the University for Development Studies.
  2. Be available to undertake the mobility during the approved period.
  3. Submit a relevant training plan linked to the applicant’s professional responsibilities.
  4. Have at least B2 proficiency in English or Spanish.
  5. Meet the requirements of both UDS and the University of Málaga.

Staff members who have not previously participated in an Erasmus+ mobility are encouraged to apply. Applicants with disabilities, special needs or fewer opportunities are also encouraged to participate.

Financial Support
The Erasmus+ grant provides €1,190 in individual support for seven eligible days, together with a travel allowance calculated according to the applicable Erasmus+ distance band. The grant contributes to mobility costs and may not cover all expenses.

  1. Completed application.
  2. Current curriculum vitae.
  3. Copy of the biodata page of a valid passport.
  4. Proof of employment at UDS.
  5. Proposed Mobility Agreement or brief training plan.
  6. Evidence of language proficiency, where available.
  7. Evidence of preliminary communication or acceptance from the proposed host unit at the University of Málaga, where applicable.
  8. Brief statement explaining the expected professional and institutional benefit of the mobility.

All documents should be typed and submitted in PDF format.
