Background
Lydia Kwoyiga holds a PhD in Environmental Science. She has about 10 years of professional working experience. She works at University for Development Studies (UDS), Tamale, Ghana since 2013. Her research areas straddle groundwater and local livelihoods, institutions and climate change adaptation, rural women and food provisioning, community-based ecotourism and sustainable development and higher education. Until her reposting to School of Engineering, she was the Faculty Coordinator for the Third Trimester Field Practical Programme, Faculty of Education.
