An Electronic Library facility has been commissioned at the Tamale Teaching Hospital (TTH) for use by medical students of the University for Development Studies.

Cutting the tape to inaugurate the facility, the Vice- Chancellor of UDS, Prof. Gabriel Ayum Teye lamented the inadequate provision of facilities on the various campuses, and expressed Management’s appreciation to the University of Maastricht and the Netherlands Niche project for providing funding support in aid of the E- learning Center.

He admonished students to take good care of the computers and maximize the use of the center to enhance the quality of teaching, learning and research.

The Ceremony was also graced by the Deans of the School of Medicine and Health Sciences and the School of Allied Health Sciences as well as Heads of Departments and a cross- section of students from the two Schools.
