Admission Requirements

1. Domestic applicants
To qualify for admission into the Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in Nursing programme, the applicant must meet the following requirements.

1. The applicant must have a good first degree in a nursing or midwifery program, preferably a second-class lower or better at any accredited university.
2. Domestic applicants with certificates obtained from a foreign country must have their certificates validated and certified by the Ghana Tertiary Education Commission (GTEC).
3. Applicants must have a minimum of one year of work experience as a professional nurse/midwife after national service. 
4. The applicant must also be in good standing with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (N&MC) of Ghana.

2. Foreign Applicants

1. Foreign applicants with a good first degree in nursing or midwifery, preferably a second-class lower or better at any accredited university may be considered for admission.
2. All foreign applicants must have their certificates validated and certified by the Ghana Tertiary Education Commission (GTEC).
3. International applicants must show evidence of registration with their home Professional Regulatory Bodies.
4. Applicants from non-English speaking countries must also show evidence of English Language proficiency.
